What I need help with

My background as an entrepreneur

My current challenges

We are underfunded for the work we want to do and are asked to do. We are understaffed to support both fundraising and program activities.

Actions I’ve taken so far

We have a sponsorship menu and reach out to sponsors periodically. Until COVID, we had a good record of having corporate sponsors renew every year.

My future goals

Increase annual funding to 3x current funding to allow for two full time and one part time employee.

My motivations to work with a mentor

I need to both learn how to budget time for fundraising as well as learn some new fundraising strategies. If we don't increase our funding, we may not be sustainable in the long run.
