Creating our messaging to communicate with VC's has been challenging. Our product is market-ready, we have millions of dollars in our sales pipeline and we're about to run out of runway. We're having difficulty creating a message that resonates with investors.
Actions I’ve taken so far
We've created several pitch decks, with slightly different messaging and have reached out to a few hundred investors. We've been somewhat successful as we've had first calls with a number of VCs. Two have moved to a 3rd call, one of which is tomorrow.
We're looking for a mentor with experience in working with VCs to help us with our messaging.
My future goals
Land VC, without it, there is no future.
My motivations to work with a mentor
Someone with more experience will allow us to craft our message so that it resonates with VCs. We just need to get VCs in a meeting, our deck strong.
About my venture
Threatrix is a cybersecurity company in the application security space. I have 5 years of experience in this industry. I've worked for the companies I'm not competing against. I intimately understand the needs of our customers and have created a solution that will substantially disrupt this market. I've validated Threatrix by holding more than 30 demos for potential customers and partners, including some of the worlds largest companies; Bloomberg Financial, US Bank, Continential USA, PwC and KPMG. All of which feel that Threatrix is a game-changer in this market. PwC is meeting with us on Tuesday to being work on a partnership so that they can bring us into their existing customers.
Our H2 pipeline is more than $4.2M and that does not account for any revenue from PwC or KPMG partnerships.
