How I can help

My professional background

While under formal employment, i oversaw a business overhaul and strategy development. As a General manager, i grew the business by opening 4 branches in Africa.

What am proud of is the journey of conceptualizing and now implementation of a $132M mega project which i have been responsible at all levels. (concept development, Business planning, financial modelling and funding, Contractor selection and local approvals)

I also run a youth mentorship program (mentorship and beyond) where we've partnered with Wadhwani foundation and trains on entrepreneurship to the youths in my country. In addition am part of a global jury at younoodle.com under Wadhwani foundation where we review startup ideas from young people across the globe.

How to work with me

What I can offer

Self discovery Opportunity discovery Business modelling Customer and solutions Growth strategies My approach is both physical and online meetings. Email and chat platforms also helps.

My expectations for a successful mentoring relationship

A successful mentoring relationship for me is one that ends up with impact. The mentee/mentor engagement should be progressive. If within 3 interactions there is no notable progress, my take is re-evaluate if its needed in the first place. The end result of the efforts from the mentor is progress of the mentee. full stop.

How entrepreneurs can prepare before we start

Have a summary of their venture clear. Be specific on the exact problem he/she is looking solutions for and lastly be open to being mentored because sometimes "what we see as the problem is not necessarily the problem"
